Chris Rivera returns to the shores of lake Geneva

Rivera, a product of Genève-Servette HC, has been without a new contract since he and his former National League employer HC Fribourg-Gottéron mutually agreed to dissolve their contract in mid-July this year due to family reasons.
As GSHC's second team announced on Facebook today, the Swiss-American forward will join them for the remainder of the ongoing season. He is set to play his first game on Saturday this week when the first league team will face EHC Saastal at home.
Overall, Rivera has an experience of 659 National League games with Genève-Servette HC and HC Fribourg-Gottéron, in which he managed to put up 63 goals and 74 assists for a total of 137 points.
