The International Ice Hockey Federation has released the game schedule of the 2021 World Championship today.

The tournament will be opened with the Group A game between Russia and Czechia on May 21 at the Olympic Sports Centre in Riga. Switzerland will play its first preliminary game a day later at 7.15 pm (CET) at the same venue. Their opponent will be Czechia.
