IIHF World Championship

Andrea Glauser, Samuel Kreis, Denis Hollenstein and Marco Müller will all not be part of the national team for the IIHF Worlds.

After the last preparation game before departing to the World Championship in Slovakia, head coach Patrick Fischer has cut four more players from the roster of the national team. Defencemen Andrea Glauser (SCL Tigers) and Samuel Kreis(EHC Biel), as well as forwards Denis Hollenstein (ZSC Lions) and Marco Müller (HC Ambrì-Piotta), will not be traveling to Bratislava to represent Switzerland.

Switzerland's first game of the tournament will take place on May 11, when they go up against Italy.
