For Josi, it will be the seventh time he suits up for his country at the World Championship, the most successful run being in 2013 when he was named MVP of the tournament and led Switzerland to a silver medal. The 27-year-old is coming off of his first season as captain of the Predators, during which he recorded 14 goals and 39 assists in 75 regular season games as well as four assists in 13 playoff games.

Fiala will make his third appearance at the IIHF Worlds, he was part of the Swiss team in 2014 (two assists) and 2015 (one goal, two assists). He just played his first full season with the Preds, putting up 23 goals and 25 assists during the regular season and adding three goals and one assist in the playoffs.

The two of them are expected to arrive in Copenhagen on Sunday morning, but it is not known yet when they will be in the lineup for Switzerland. With these additions, head coach Patrick Fischer has now filled all possible roster spots. Defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler and forward Samuel Walser are being sent home.
