On Tuesday the Finnish defenseman with a Swiss license had to undergo surgery after tearing a chest muscle during EV Zug's off-ice practice. "I hope to return to game action in December or January and help the team in the most important phase of the season," Alatalo says to the Luzerner Zeitung.
Last season, the now 27-year-old suited up in 54 games for the Bulls putting up eight goals and 13 assists.
