In the first period of the game between EHC Biel and HC Davos past Saturday, the home team's Fabio Hofer attempted to block a shot from an opponent. Doing so, he broke his metacarpus and a finger, sidelining him for six weeks, as his club informs.
In Biel's six games so far this season, the Austrian put up four goals and one assist.
