In the game against the EVZ Academy on Saturday, Rickard Palmberg crashed head-first into the boards and was not able to take his place yesterday, the Thurgauer Zeitung reports. HC Thurgau does not yet have an exact diagnosis, but suspects a concussion.
With Patrick Spannring, another player will be out for several weeks, the same source reports. Also the 30-year-old Austrian is still waiting for the results of his medical examinations. He crashed into the boards on Saturday and suffered a back injury.
