Genève-Servette HC will have to make do without Jonathan Mercier for the playoffs. Due to his hand injury not healing as planned, the 35-year-old now requires surgery. He has been out for a month already.
The Grenats might also not have captain Noah Rod (upper-body) and Tanner Richard at their disposal for their first playoff game tomorrow. Both forwards are day-to-day with their respective injuries. Their fellow teammate, defenseman Marco Maurer, is still sidelined and will definitely not suit up.
