The defenseman, however, told Blick that there is still no timeline set for his comeback and that is better to take it day by day.

Eric Blum is still dealing with symptoms from a severe concussion

Following the concussion suffered on February 14 after a check from HC Davos' Fabrice Herzog, Eric Blum could not do basically anything for weeks other than lying in bed. Now, six weeks later, the defenseman of SC Bern still has slight dizziness and headaches. The 34-year-old is getting treatment at the Concussion Center in Zurich.

Asked about the check the caused the concussion, Blum admits that he told his team not to appeal the decision to suspend Herzog for eight games: "I would not have taken satisfaction in an even harsher suspension". Nonetheless, Blum also reveals that the behavior of Herzog irritated him: "I have no problem with Herzog. But his statement before the single judge pissed me off. I realized that he was reluctant to learn".
