Cory Emmerton sustained the injury in Saturday's game, when he took a puck to his elbow. He is expected to be out of Lausanne HC's lineup for three to four months, which means he will definitely miss the rest of the season.
Emmerton recorded seven goals and ten assists in 33 games for the Lions this season. On average, he was on the ice for 18:40 minutes per game.
According to 24 heures, LHC might also have to make do without Petteri Lindbohm (upper-body injury) and Ronalds Kenins (lower-body injury). Benjamin Antonietti (knee), on the other hand, might make his comeback on Tuesday.
