Grassi's return to SC Bern's lineup was planned for the beginning of the new year. Now, however, the forward has to undergo surgery today and will not be able to return until eight weeks from now. The problem: a partial tear in the quadriceps tendon which has not healed as desired.
This season, Daniele Grassi has suited up 18 times for the Bears and recorded one goal and one assist.
