Jesse Zgraggen was injured as a result of a blocked shot during the game on Tuesday against HK Mountfield, valid for the CHL quarterfinals. The blow to the neck caused a lesion in the cartilage of the thyroid. The 26-year-old is expected to come back towards the end of January.

This season, Zgraggen played a total of 31 games for EV Zug, recording five assists. Moreover, in this regular-season, he averages 16:08 minutes on the ice per game.
