Brunner has been out for over two months due to a broken hand. The 33-year-old was expected to be ready for tonight's game between his EHC Biel and the SCL Tigers, but it seems as he is not quite there just yet.
On a positive note, three players announced as questionable by the Journal du Jura - defenseman Yannick Rathgeb as well as forwards Anton Gustafsson and Marc-Antoine Pouliot - have been cleared for game-action and are back in the lineup.
