The Norwegian forward is dealing with concussion symptoms after he recived a hard check on Tuesday, during the game between EHC Olten and the EVZ Academy. It is not known at the moment how long the 21-year-old will be sidelined. So far, Fogstad Vold, who possesses a Swiss player's license, recorded seven points in 16 games.
On the bright side, EHC Olten might count again on Stanislav Horanský. The head coach of the Mice, Fredrik Söderström, will decide after the morning warm-up if Horanský can make his season debut this evening against the HCB Ticino Rockets. The Slovakian forward, who also holds a Swiss player's license, sustained an injury to a hip muscle back in August during a practice session.
