A bit more than a month after he sustained a knee-injury in a collision with Langnau's Robbie Earl, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's captain Julien Sprunger is one step closer to a return. Journalist Jean-Philippe Pressl-Wenger (MySports) has posted a video of Sprunger on the ice this morning.
Sprunger's return, however, will certainly take some more time. After his injury on September 17, the club expected him to be sidelined for at least two months.
