After several in-depth examinations, HC Ambrì-Piotta's medical staff deemed the surgery necessary. Benjamin Conz is expected to be out of the lineup for five to six months.
The Biancoblù are now looking for another goaltender for the duration of his absence in order to have someone who can support Daniel Manzato.
