Marc Abplanalp has recovered from surgery.
After having surgery on his collarbone, the veteran defenseman has also taken up the physical training with his team mates. "I have the doctor's green light. I can do almost anything," the 34-year-old says to La Liberté. "I have to make sure to regain the muscles I lost around the collarbone."
"In the last ten years or so, we've never started so early," Abplanalp explains to the same source. One reason is HC Fribourg-Gottéron's new fitness coach Simon Holdener. "The new coach must also get to know us, that's understandable," Abplanalp says.
