First game of the season for HC Ajoie's Konstantin Schmidt

Playing one's season debut in game four of the Swiss League's quarter-final is not a very common thing. HC Ajoie's defenceman Konstantin Schmidt will face this task today, as his team goes up against HC Thurgau, with the series currently in Ajoie's favour.

The defenceman was sidelined for a long time and had to undergo multiple surgeries due to hernia problems followed by an adductor injury. Despite already having thrown the towel for the remainder of the season back in November, he will be in the lineup for this game.
