Medical Report

Bad luck for Yannick Blaser. The defenceman will be out for several months in order to recover from an injury to the adductor muscle.

Blaser already missed the entire 2016-17 season for a similar injury.

Yannick Blaser's season could already be over. He got injured during Saturday's game against HC Fribourg-Gottéron. The medical analysis revealed a tear in the adductor muscle as well as in the abdominal wall, for which he had to undergo surgery. The SCL Tigers' defenceman recorded four points in 19 games this season.

Also out with an injury are Aaron Gagnon and Samuel Erni. Gagnon is expected to miss a couple of weeks because of a broken jaw that required an operation. On the contrary, Erni, who suffers from a hand injury, could be back soon, as the first analysis did not show anything serious.
