The 25-year-old forward was able to fully practice today and seems to be ready to resume playing. According to head coach Alex Reinhard, McFarland will have to undergo some medical examinations tomorrow morning in order to clear him to play. Should he not be ready, he will likely make his comeback on Friday against HC Thurgau.
Since mid-September, McFarland has been sidelined with a hand injury, which he sustained in a cup game against EHC Visp. In one game for HCC this season, he has scored two goals and one assist.
