François Beauchemin signed with the HCB Ticino Rockets in 2021 after not having played a single game of hockey in the 2020-21 season. Having played in North America for the majority of his career, his deal with the Dragons de Rouen will only be his second in Europe.
Last season, the forward recorded 16 goals and 28 assists in 48 games for the Rockets and thus ended the season as the Swiss League team's top scorer.
