According to Expressen's blogger Johan Svensson, SHL's Luleå HF and several teams from the German DEL are supposedly interested in the services of Thuresson. "I do not want to exclude anything. Good hockey jobs are interesting to me," he replied when asked if he prefers to play in the SHL or abroad.

The 30-year-old winger and former Swedish international joined the SCL Tigers from Beijing-based KHL-team Kunlun Red Star at the beginning of December last year. He managed to put up seven goals and six assists in a total of 23 games for them.
