The 30-year-old goaltender has agreed to terms with Fehérvár AV19, a Hungarian team.

“Several factors contributed to me continuing my career here. On the one hand, the team’s goaltending coach, Arttu Lipsanen, is also Finnish [...], Tirronen said. "Talking to the players, I only heard good things about the team and the city, which made the decision a lot easier. I look forward to getting to know a new country and a new league."

Rasmus Tirronen joined EHC Visp in January. He was acquired as an injury replacement for Sascha Rochow who had been out of the lineup due to a head injury. Tirronen appeared in ten games for EHC Visp this season, posting a .894 save percentage.
