After Jaedon Descheneau, Canadian forward Cam Braes also leaves HC Thurgau. He has signed with the EBEL's HC Orli Znojmo.

"In Switzerland, he showed himself in a very good light," Znjomo's team manager Rostislav Dočekal says. The 27-year-old thus gets the chance to take another step in his career and join the Czech team, which is part of the EBEL. It will be his second team since he came to Europe last summer.

For HC Thurgau, Braes was part of a very productive import-duo alongside Jaedon Descheneau. In 51 games for Thurgau this past season, he scored 30 goals and added 25 assists for 55 points.
