Danny Kristo to play for Kunlun Red Star

The 30-year-old former player of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will thus return to the KHL for the upcoming season.

Danny Kristo is off to China.

Danny Kristo confirms on his Instagram that he has signed a contract with the Beijing-based KHL team. It will be his second stint in the Russian league. He had already played for Dinamo Riga in the 2017-18 season.

Kristo joined the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers at the end of October 2018. Last season, he appeared in 39 games for them, recording eleven goals and eleven assists.
