As already speculated at the end of March, the SCL Tigers will lose their top scorer Harri Pesonen to the KHL. Pesonen, who made use of the out-clause in his contract, leaves, therefore, Switzerland after six seasons, four of which with Lausanne HC and two with the Tigers. In 307 National League games, he collected 245 points. The 31-year-old signed a two-year contract with Magnitogorsk.

However, the SCL Tigers have yet to confirm the transaction. As Marc Eichmann told the Berner Zeitung after the report: "As of today, Pesonen still has a valid contract with us." It thus remains to be seen if this is really the final chapter on this particular move.

Also leaving Switzerland for Russia is Oscar Lindberg. The 28-year-old leaves Zug after one season, in which he recorded 30 points. Lindberg decided thus not to activate the option in his contract for a second season with the Bulls and instead will join Dynamo Moscow for one year.
