Dean Kukan has been sent down to the Monsters

The Columbus Blue Jacket have reassigned Swiss defender Dean Kukan to their AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters.

Kukan has yet to play a single game for the NHL team this season. He is, however, the Monsters' top-scoring defenseman and has been selected to play in the AHL's All-Star game at the end of January. In 28 games for Cleveland, he has recorded one goal and 13 assists.
