HC La Chaux-de-Fonds defender Stefan Ulmer, who has been struggling with back pain recently, is no longer part of Austria's roster for this week. With forward Oliver Achermann, however, another player of the "Abeilles" has been called up to join the team.
All in all, head coach Roger Bader had to replace several players from his initial roster. Seven new players, including Achermann, have been called up. HC Lugano's defender Bernd Wolf is still part of the team.
