Kimo Gruber was selected 23rd overall by the Oshawa Generals. The 17-year-old is eligible for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and will thus play his draft year in North America.
Gruber is a product of EHC Kloten's organization and recorded eight goals and ten assists in 16 regular-season games for Kloten's U20 team.
