In an interview with RSI, the young Swiss forward talks about his season in the QMJHL that just ended and his own near future.

"My intention is to stay here for one more season because I think it's the best place to develop as a player, then we'll see" explains Lorenzo Canonica. The 18-year-old center has just finished his second season with the Shawinigan Cataractes. A season, which started well and was then marked by an injury that dragged into the playoffs as well.

Canonica, a product of HC Lugano's youth sector, is eligible for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, which will take place in Montreal on July 7-8.
