Swiss forward Kyen Sopa traded to the Erie Otters

Apart from the 19-year-old forward, the Erie Otters also receive a 13th round selection in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. “This was a difficult move to make. Sopa joined the Niagara IceDogs for the 2018-19 season. This season, he has already equalized the point total he had for the entire season last year (31 points) with still over twenty games to go in the regular season. Sopa was also part of Switzerland's World Junior team, recording one assist in five games.
