"We have made this decision after a thorough evaluation of the current situation," the Director National Teams Lars Weibel states. "For all parties involved in this difficult situation, solution-oriented behavior is required."
He adds that they thus made the decision in terms of the overall interest of Swiss hockey and the players. They will now try to focus on the spring preparation for the World Championship in May.
