Will be in Visp too: Melvin Nyffeler
SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers-netminder Melvin Nyffeler will be part of the Swiss national team at the NaturEnergie Challenge in Visp (starting tomorrow). Patrick Fischer has added the goalie as precautionary measure because Reto Berra (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) is currently dealing with muscular issues. The other goalie on the roster is Genève-Servette HC's Robert Mayer.
24-year-old Nyffeler has made 23 games so far this season, posting a save perventage of .901 and a goals-against average of 2.91. He has also suited up twice for the national team at this year's Deutschland Cup.
