Rumor

According to Patrick Andrey (RTS Sport), Genève-Servette HC's team manager and head coach Chris McSorley could soon leave the Grenats.

As Andrey writes, McSorley and GSHC's owner and president Hugh Quennec are apparently not on the same page anymore. Thus, still according to Andrey, McSorley could, in fact, leave the Grenats. However, more information about this dispute is not available at the moment.

Last September, Le Matin Dimanche reported that Chris McSorley had sold his shares to Hugh Quennec, who now holds 100% of the Grenats. In return, McSorley had signed a contract with GSHC that would keep him in town until his retirement (about 15 years). This information, however, has never been confirmed by the club.
