As the magazine Eishockey News reports (relayed by the Wolfsburger Nachrichten), the Grizzlys Wolfsburg are rumored to be interested in Kaspars Daugavins. Under normal circumstances, the DEL team would not be able to afford the forward, but apparently, SC Bern is said to be willing to "pay a hefty severance package" for him.
There were rumors at the beginning of July that Daugavins might consider a return to the KHL, but the forward denied the reports and even stated that he was surprised to hear such a rumor. Last season, the 34-year-old forward recorded ten goals and 14 assists in 34 regular-season games for SC Bern.
