Matteo Nodari's contract with HC Lugano will expire in 2023 but the 34-year-old might not stay in Lugano that long. According to the journalist, the club will either terminate the contract by February 1 or send him to their partner team in the Swiss League, the HCB Ticino Rockets.
Since the international break in November, Nodari was in HC Lugano's line-up only four times and ended up being scratched eleven times. In 28 games with the Bianconeri, the defender collected nine points.
