Genève-Servette HC currently holds the second to last place in the National League and is dealing with some injuries, too. French international Da Costa, who did not get a contract in the NHL, is still without a team and would be an option for the Grenats.
Da Costa intended to sign with an NHL team, but due to health problems, he did not make it overseas. Last term, he put up 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in 34 games for CSKA Moscow in the KHL.
