"This time, it would be with all the stars, Alex Ovechkin and co.," Riat says to the Tribune de Genève. Just last week, his trip to the Capitals' rookie tournament was canceled due to hurricane Irma. But the 20-year-old forward received another invitation: To the Capitals' pre-season tournament.
Now Riat has two options: Catch a flight on Wednesday or Thursday and head to Washington or stay with the Grenats. "I don't know what to do yet," he admits. "Both options are interesting."
Whether he leaves for North America or not, Riat will definitely play against HC Davos tonight, the newspaper writes.
