"I will take part in the Sharks’ camp," say the 20-year-old forward. "If it doesn't work out, I will return to Genève-Servette HC. The level of the NLA is better than the one of the AHL for my development."
Rod signed an entry-level deal with the Sharks at the end of March. He then traveled to San Jose after GSHC’s playoff out and has been part of the Sharks’ AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda, since then. In four games for them, he has put up one assist.
