The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled their Swiss forward Joël Vermin from the Syracuse Crunch, their AHL affiliate team.

Vermin was already recalled by the Lightning at the end of November. He then played eight NHL games, in which he scored two assists, before being sent down to the Syracuse Crunch once again. In 23 games for the Lightning's AHL affiliate so far, he has scored seven goals and six assists.

The 24-year-old forward, who has reportedly signed a five-year contract with Lausanne HC for the upcoming season, is currently in his third year in North America. Thus far, he has appeared in a total of 14 NHL games, scoring three assists.
