According to The Mercury News, San Jose Sharks' forward Timo Meier is set to hit the ice again after he was added to the NHL's Covid-19 protocol.

Currently, seven players of the sharks are not able to play due to the Covid-19 protocol (besides Timo Meier also Kevin Labanc, Erik Karlsson, Jake Middleton, Matt Nieto, Radim Simek, and Marc-Edouard Vlasic). They missed mutiple games, beeing sidelined since November 2nd.

As The Mercury News reports, those players are traveling to Denver, join team practice and are expected to suit up in the game against the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow. It is, however, not yet clear how many of those players will be able to return to game action.

Timo Meier was one of the leading scorers on the Sharks' roster, putting up five goals and six assists in eight games this season thus far.
