"Sven's goal is a contract in the NHL. [...] That is why he refuses any talks with Swiss teams," André Rufener tells Zaugg, adding that until it is clear that Bärtschi will not get a new contract in the NHL, he will not have conversations with Swiss teams. "Switzerland will not become an issue until mid-August at the earliest."
Sven Bärtschi already revealed earlier this week in the podcast "Donnie and Dhali" that he is looking for an opportunity and that he hopes that other teams noticed that he was not just in the AHL to finish off his contract with the Canucks.
