The 23-year-old forward, who has a two-year contract with the Washington Capitals in place, will probably make his last game for GSHC tonight.

Once more with feeling: Damien Riat with his final game for GSHC tonight?

"Damien will leave soon," Genève-Servette HC's head coach Pat Emond confirms to the Tribune de Genève. The exact date of his departure is not yet known. Clear is, however, that the young forward will wear the Grenat's jersey once again in tonight's home game against EHC Biel.

With some delay, the 23-year-old is ready to take on his adventure in North America: "In my head things are clear: I signed for two seasons over there and I'm ready to put all the energy and chances on my side in to succeed. I'm willing to be patient and go through the AHL if I have to."

With Riat, GSHC loses their second-best scorer. In 15 games, he scored four goals and added 10 assists. Only Swedish forward Linus Omark has been more productive (21 points in 15 games).
