Nico Hischier will get to take part in the NHL All-Star games on January 24 and 25 in St. Louis. As the initial representative of the New Jersey Devils, Kyle Palmeri, had to drop out due to an injury he recently sustained, the 21-year-old gets to replace him.

After a slow start to the season, Hischier now stands at twelve goals and 16 assists in 40 games. Since the Devils replaced their head coach and traded away Taylor Hall, the 2017 first overall pick has been on an upswing. He will join fellow Swiss NHLer Roman Josi, who is going to represent the Nashville Predators.
