The 18-year-old from the OHL's Oshawa Generals was not able to attend the Canucks' development camp this summer. He received an invitation despite not being one of their draft picks, but then sustained an injury (as previously reported). Now the former HC Davos-forward has another chance to impress the Canucks' staff.
The Young Star Classic takes place from September 7 to 9 in Penticton, British Columbia (Canada). It features two games between the top prospects of the Vancouver Canucks and the Winnipeg Jets as well as two games between the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and the CIS Champion University of Alberta Golden Bears.
