Hänggi (photo), as well as Moser, has been in tryout since the beginning of May and have attended the team's season preparation. They will sign their new contracts next week. As of now, it is not clear how long these will be valid.

The 19-year-old Moser, a product of HC Thurgau, played for the SCL Tigers' Elite A team and EHC Unterseen-Interlaken of the first league. Hänggi played junior hockey in North America this past season. He appeared in 14 games for the Connecticut Junior Rangers of the USPHL and then joined the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs where he played 21 games and scored 13 points (two goals, eleven assists).

In other news, HC Thurgau gives an update on their injury situation: Adrian Brunner will resume game action in tonight's season opener against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. Lars Kellenberger (undisclosed) and Alain Bahar (calf), on the other hand, are sidelined tonight. The latter is already back in team practice and might resume game action earlier than expected. A decision will be made next week in consultation with the medical staff.
