Diego Leuenberger is a product of SC Bern's organization and played for their U20 team last season. The goaltender appeared in 25 regular-season games for the junior team and posted a 2.86 GAA.
Leuenberger was, however, not the only player present without a Swiss League contract. Roman Knellwolf, who has received a tryout opportunity from the Mice, was also present. He will be able to showcase his skills in the next four weeks.
