The absence of TV rights income was mostly compensated, so HC Sierre only operated at a small, controlled deficit. Their finances are on solid ground. Thanks to that, plus the arrival of the new shareholder Sierre-Valais Sport SA, they will increase their budget to CHF 3,7 million for the 2023-24 season, with the aim to reach the semifinal in the Swiss League.
Besides that, a new member was added to the administrative board. Alexandre Bonvin has been a partner of the club for multiple seasons and brings experience in the business field. An additional member will be presented within the next few weeks.
