Swiss League

The Czech forward will not be back with HC Sierre. He has decided to not make use of his option for next season and to hang up his skates instead.

Tomas Dolana hit Swiss ice for the first time in 2005 with Forward Morges. Since then, he only ever played in the National League B and the Swiss League, respectively. HC Sierre honors the now 38-year-old forward in their press release, stating that "Tomas was always a role model for his professionalism and his attitude."

The larger part of his career, Dolana spent in the Valais. He suited up for EHC Visp from 2008 until 2020, before moving back to HC Sierre, for which he had already played in the 2006-07 season. All in all he appeared in 954 games in Switzerland's second-highest league, in which he recorded 733 points (244 goals).
