Like Büsser, Berger will suit up for EHC Wetzikon next season. Diego Schwarzenbach will also leave the team, albeit for a different reason: the 35-year-old forward has decided to retire from professional hockey.
EHC Basel did, however, also have some good news for their fans: Lucas Bachofner has decided to stay in Basel. He has signed a two-year contract with the Swiss League team.
